Collage Workshop with Elise Guillen
Collage Workshop with Elise Guillen
Grab a friend and join us Sunday, April 20th from 5-8pm!
This workshop will spark your imagination, encourage you to use your artistic intuition and provide you with 3 HOURS of creative fun, freedom and focus.
We'll be using common zine formats as the starting point for our collages: one option focuses on creating a different collage for each panel, while the other involves creating a single collage that covers all panels, similar to a folded poster. Your teacher will provide examples, tips and instruction as to how to work with the provided material and how to best approach your piece once you've decided on a direction and theme. As with most of our workshops here, we encourage you to:
-have fun with your group!
-respectfully listen and engage with the instruction.
-feel freedom to collage outside the suggested structure.
This workshop is for you if:
-You've been looking for an easy way to access your creative self.
-You're curious about collage and it's building blocks.
-You want to set aside your chores, work with your hands, meet like-minded friends and leave the clean-up to someone else!
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
