Paper Doll

A unique art doll inspired by a childhood memory of paper dolls cut out and assembled with brads. This textile version is delicately assembled from various machine embroidered parts. 

Each doll's head and shoulders are stitched in metallic gold, crimson red, and dark brown embroidery threads. She is hand stuffed with cotton- then is pressed flat and embellished with a hand smocked cloth skirt.
