Sketchbook Painting Workshop with Allie Yacina

Workshop Description:

Date: Monday, November 3rd, 6-9pm

In this three hour course we will explore the process of painting a still life in gouache from scratch starting with a sketchbook. Participants will have the opportunity to color swatch a limited color palette, practice thumbnail sketches, and observe a demonstration by instructor Allie Yacina before painting their own still life created by the objects existing in Happy Anyway. 

Paint supplies are provided, but please bring a sketchbook of your choosing!

-This is a 

6 person (maximum), all-levels workshop but is restricted to ages 16 and up.
-Location: Happy Anyway (3125 SE Belmont) on Moday, November 3rd from 6-9pm.
-All materials will be provided but if you have a favorite sketchbook, paintbrush, etc you're welcome to bring it!
-Happy Anyway will provide light refreshments for participants. 
-Happy Anyway is HAPPY to offer workshop participants 10% off their purchases if they choose to shop during/after the workshop. 

Cancellation Policy: If you can't make the workshop for any reason, please let us know ASAP as we will contact anyone who has been put on a waitlist. Cancellations made before October 24th will receive a 80% refund. Cancellations made on or after October 24th, will receive an 80% refund ONLY IF we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist.
