Workshop Description:

Date: Sunday, January 19th from 10am-1pm

In this three hour course we will explore the process of painting a still life in gouache from scratch starting with a sketchbook. Participants will have the opportunity to color swatch a limited color palette, practice thumbnail sketches, and observe a demonstration by instructor Allie Yacina before painting their own still life created by the objects existing in Happy Anyway. 

All supplies are provided, including gouache and a small sketchbook. Participants are welcome to bring their own sketchbooks, gouache, brushes, etc. if they'd like but that is entirely optional.

More Details: 
-This is a 6 person (maximum), all-levels workshop but is restricted to ages 18 and up.
-Location: Happy Anyway (3125 SE Belmont) on Sunday, JANUARY 19th from 10-1:00pm.
-All materials will be provided but if you have a favorite sketchbook, paintbrush, etc you're welcome to bring it!
-Happy Anyway will provide mimosas and a non-alcoholic sparklers for participants. 
-Happy Anyway is HAPPY to offer workshop participants 10% off their purchases if they choose to shop during/after the workshop. 

Cancellation Policy: If you can't make the workshop for any reason, please let us know ASAP as we will contact anyone who has been put on a waitlist. Cancellations made before January 12th will receive a 80% refund. Cancellations made on or after January 12, will receive a 90% refund IF we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist.
